Welcome to 2006!

Welcome to the next year of our lives...

Can we know what is in store for us in the next whip around the old Solar System? How will '06 top the extraordinary global events of '05? What in your life, and mine will be memorable enough to be considered when this time rolls around for 2007? And what about your plans? Are you one of those that attempts to declare a new start with the New Year? How will you resolve to do things differently?

For me, I want to see the world become less driven by greed and more driven by compassion. Less concerned about saving face and more about saving lives. Let's lift the lowest among us to heights they have not known, and raise the spirit of all.

Peace on earth and good will to each and every one of you.

Come together...

Do you ever wish that all of us, all of us, could "just get along"? And do you ever wonder why it's just not that way, at all?

Wouldn't it be interesting to know that war and human on human violence was just part of the "grand scheme"? How would you feel if you found out that we were all destined to die, which we are, but that the nature of our species was that we had a self-limiting primal behavior that was there to reduce our population, since we have no other natural predators?

These notions would explain a lot, or would they? Why does one people or nation seek to dominate another or in some cases, all others? Think about it as we begin yet one more revolution about our sun as residents on the rock in space we call Mother Earth.

What's in a name?

We all have a story to tell... Would you consider telling yours?

I have a lot to share with you. I don't have all of the motivation, and time that I would like but I can no longer take that as an excuse...I will have to create the time and let my life be my motivation.

I grew up in something of a fog. Not my internal sense of self as much as failing to perceive the disconnect between what I felt was real and what seemed to be the concerns those around me held. I had daydreams where I recollect seeing my self in a monks temple high in the mountains of some obscure remote region, and believing it to be a past-life flashback. I felt a need to work through the details of endless inventions and creations, but only to flex my mental biceps, not to render a genuine contribution. Alas the many world-changing things I could have wrought...

This was how I was then and now the time has come for me to change my ways. I want to make my art. I want to manifest my innovations. I need to sing my song and tell my story. Please join me as I work through this transformation, day by day. Perhaps, better late than never.

Oh and about the name... more on this later...
