Why has this testimony not made national news and been under major media scrutiny or had the media launch a real investigation? Programmer under oath admits computers rig elections. www.youtube.com Software programmer says US elections are rigged and that US Representatives tried to pay him to rig their election vote counts. How Electronic Voting Machines Could Steal Our Democracy

...not in MY America? By the way, try to digg this story... This is censored by the digg site... please let me know if it works for you...

"Did you know the hardware and software used in electronic voting machines (DREs) is considered proprietary and cannot be inspected by outside experts? That means that a small number of people could easily program DREs to flip votes, and the evidence of this crime would be safely locked inside the machines, with no way that anyone (except for the manufacturers) to know with 100% certainty that votes were accurately counted, or even if they were counted at all. And paper trails are only useful if they are actually counted. They often aren’t."

As Josef Stalin (allegedly) said, "It's not the people who vote that count. It's the people who count the votes." - www.alternet.org October 30, 2008

As the 2008 election nears, electronic voting experts from ACM will be monitoring the reliability of voting equipment, including new systems deployed in many locations across the country. These computerized voting machines, intended to eliminate the confusion and errors that marred recent elections, offer opportunities for efficiency and ease of voting. They also pose new risks to accuracy and reliability that could undermine trust in the voting process and the technology that drives it. These experts, from ACM’s U.S. Public Policy Committee (USACM) http://www.acm.org/usacm, will be analyzing voting issues around the nation as Election Day approaches.
