Believe it or not...
Our planet is controlled by a corrupt Über-class that conducts it's day to day business via a worldwide scheme perpetrated through a series of bribes, kickbacks, payoffs, favors and "gifts" exchanged between themselves. Meanwhile, they grind away at humanity with a sickening procession of "conflicts" they use to propel their military-industrial-political financial Juggernaut forward. Huge weapons contracts are negotiated with dictators, despots, autocrats and tyrants with the off-shore numbered bank accounts of "presidents", "legislators", "politicians", "diplomats", "leaders", "envoys" and "emissaries" ticking ever higher with each fighter jet, bomb, missile or anti-personnel mine shipment to Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Israel and you-name-where-else. Lavish vacations, jewelry and assorted riches beyond what most average citizens can even imagine are handed about as tokens of appreciation for the facilitation of the graft and corrupt deals. Throw into the mix the so-called leaders of the "free world" casually looking the other way while their dictatorial partners in these crimes do whatever they want to their own people, using the very military infrastructure they have been provided with through mind-numbing "military aid packages" to the tune of billions of dollars. ... taxpayer dollars!!! They oppress non-violent protesters, beating, imprisoning and yes even killing them to silence their cries that while the dictators line their pockets and ride high, the populace subsists in abject poverty or worse. They subject their citizenry to unspeakable hardship and deny them their own freedom in determining the course of their own lives. They fail to support the individuals rights to pursue economic entrepreneurship if they are not properly connected or pay the appropriate "fees". The recent popular uprisings spreading across the middle east is directly the result of the people in Tunisia, Egypt, Libya, Bahrain ... finally getting access to information that sheds the disinfectant of the light of day on this entire stinking mess.
All the while the censored and ghost-written "media" keep us properly misinformed of the reality in which we exist ... and the FBI, CIA and the rest protect the criminals and attack the whistle-blowers seizing their computers at gun-point, labeling them, yes, you guessed it, "terrorists"!!!
Dear reader, prepare yourself for there is a change in the wind. Finally the truth about what has been going on for decades is beginning to emerge. Not as a single uncovered case but vast network exposing hundreds of thousands of documented examples. This is not speculation but a frightening image of this disgusting and sad state of affairs backed up by hard evidence. Think wikileaks was newsworthy? There is a new kid on the block and they appear poised to tear the roof off this sucker!!!
Are you angry? ... at least disturbed? Watch this video where a certain "leader" shows his impunity and makes a pass to revisit the scene of one of the largest crimes in history when the Air Force One backup plane buzzes skyscrapers in Manhattan. By the way, not that he has not been part of the "business as usual" program, Obama was not the "leader" on board who ordered this flight. The details of what actually was going on here have not been declassified....
Be aware, and be ready ...

airborne remote controlled robot proxy warfare
Ask yourself what it takes to remember

Why is U.S. foreign policy to take lethal actions, on the soil of another sovereign nation, and "not acknowledge" it?
World News Blog reports that "... Two British nationals, reportedly fighting with al-Qaeda militants, have been killed in the tribal region of Pakistan, near the Afghan border. McCain Jokes About Killing Iranians With American Tobacco

Responding to a question about a survey that shows increased exports to Iran, mainly from cigarettes, McCain said, “Maybe thats a way of killing them.” He quickly caught himself, saying “I meant that as a joke” as his wife, Cindy, poked him in the back.

Treasury Looted: Exposing Bush Administration Corruption

Arrigo exposes the scheme - the systematic looting of the treasury to enrich contractors and high-level officials at Pentagon, CIA and others well-placed in government. Precise amounts are unknown, but at minimum are countless multi-billions, even trillions - at taxpayer expense and diverted from essential social and infrastructure needs.

McCain on waterboarding: Straight Talk Curve Ball?
October 25, 2007 - Sioux Center, Ia. - Des Moines Register
— Waterboarding is a form of torture no matter how it is done and should be a prohibited among U.S. military interrogation practices, Republican presidential candidate John McCain said today, taking issue with GOP rival Rudy Giuliani’s recent remarks.
“Anyone who knows what waterboarding is could not be unsure. It is a horrible torture technique used by Pol Pot and being used on Buddhist monks as we speak,” said McCain after a campaign stop at Dordt College here.
“People who have worn the uniform and had the experience know that this is a terrible and odious practice and should never be condoned in the U.S. We are a better nation than that.”
Compare and contrast that stand with what Senator McCain said recently:
Feb. 20, 2008 - Yellow Springs, Oh. - AP
- Republican presidential candidate John McCain said President Bush should veto a measure that would bar the CIA from using waterboarding and other harsh interrogation methods on terror suspects.
McCain voted against the bill, which would restrict the CIA to using only the 19 interrogation techniques listed in the Army field manual.
His vote was controversial because the manual prohibits waterboarding - a simulated drowning technique that McCain also opposes - yet McCain doesn't want the CIA bound by the manual and its prohibitions...
More "Straight Talk": "I was on the record as saying that they could use additional techniques as long as they were not cruel, inhumane and degrading treatment," McCain said. "So the vote was in keeping with my clear record of saying that they could have additional techniques, but those techniques could not violate" international rules against torture."
So the CIA using waterboarding somehow doesn't qualify as making it "condoned in the U.S."?

they lied....a million died...
The study concluded that the statements "were part of an orchestrated campaign that effectively galvanized public opinion and, in the process, led the nation to war under decidedly false pretenses."
The study was posted Tuesday on the Web site of the Center for Public Integrity, which worked with the Fund for Independence in Journalism.
The study counted 935 false statements in the two-year period. It found that in speeches, briefings, interviews and other venues, Bush and administration officials stated unequivocally on at least 532 occasions that Iraq had weapons of mass destruction or was trying to produce or obtain them or had links to al-Qaida or both.
"It is now beyond dispute that Iraq did not possess any weapons of mass destruction or have meaningful ties to al-Qaida," according to Charles Lewis and Mark Reading-Smith of the Fund for Independence in Journalism staff members, writing an overview of the study. "In short, the Bush administration led the nation to war on the basis of erroneous information that it methodically propagated and that culminated in military action against Iraq on March 19, 2003."
Named in the study along with Bush were top officials of the administration during the period studied: Secretary of State Colin Powell, Vice President Dick Cheney, national security adviser Condoleezza Rice, Defense Secretary Donald H. Rumsfeld, Deputy Defense Secretary Paul Wolfowitz and White House press secretaries Ari Fleischer and Scott McClellan.

George W. Bush - NEW YORK, Oct. 20, 2000, Alfred E. Smith memorial dinner, a fundraiser for Catholic charities hosted by the Archbishop. To the diamond-studded $800-a-plate crowd… "This is an impressive crowd - the haves and the have-mores, some people call you the elites; I call you my base."

How will we keep the vassals toiling to our ends?
We will create a system above their heads from which we will conduct businesses to suspend desirable things attainable based on an arbitrary and imaginary value in the form of a monetary system. This will enable us to enslave the population in the pursuit of these things that we cause to be created by employing them to create them. Of course the actual workings of the harvesting system will be concealed behind a confusing network of laws and regulations. Our profits, explicit and implicit taxation, banking interest and governmental fees represent the winnowing edge of our great machine. We will create an ownership society where we will establish the illusion of ownership of land. We will possess and deploy weapons of planetary obliteration while arresting and incarcerating people for writing poetry contrary to our views of the world order...
How will we keep them contained on the physical plane and inactive on the spiritual plane?
We will stimulate their lusts and desires with packaging and advertising. We will consume their concern with fear mongering and war-making. We will confuse them with weapons of mass distraction like terrorism, real and otherwise. We will appear to align with the spirit of all that is right while all the while siding with the spirit of all that is right for us. The spiraling price of oil is making certain people, a small percentage of the world population, very, very wealthy…

How do we seize even more control?
We will declare martial law. We will pretend to tell other world leaders to stop oppressing their own people in vastly different ways depending on whether they are our “allies” or not, at the moment. In one case we will invade a former allies country and arrange their hanging. In another, the reprehensible and oppressive military government oppression of a current ally is rampant. Blockage of opposition party efforts via imprisonment of the entire cadre of organizers, along with obvious direct interference with basic rights and liberty, is met with a request to stop wearing your military uniform. We will use their artificially stimulated fear alert levels to raise the level of distrust throughout society. We will jail border guards for shooting at drug smugglers while never explaining how two DC9 jets, both with recent history of CIA ownership and CIA flight plan destinations crash with several tons of cocaine abroad each… Then pass the p.a.t.R.I.O.T.a.c.t. and ignore FISA, that's how.
Where does this all lead?
The population of the world is growing. Growing at an ever-faster rate. As the population grows, and more and more of that growing population enters industrialized society, there is more and more consumption of water, food, resources, and the very fabric of our planet. Also, because our technology base is so ecologically dirty, more and more spewing waste and polluting effuse is produced. Arable, habitable land and natural resources on the earth are finite, so, as far as we, the ruling elite class can see, the population that the world can sustain is limited, and also finite... The world, we believe, is in actuality only sized to sustain human beings in a really long term way up to some number of individuals, say X or so. The logical extension of this line of reasoning is that it will come down to a struggle to survive at some point, should the population continue to grow, unchecked…
07/01/07 6,602,274,81208/01/07 6,608,818,475
09/01/07 6,615,362,139

12/01/07 6,634,570,959
01/01/08 6,641,114,623
02/01/08 6,647,658,287
03/01/08 6,653,779,780
04/01/08 6,660,323,443
05/01/08 6,666,656,022
06/01/08 6,673,199,685
07/01/08 6,679,532,264...
So perhaps it should be obvious, in a rather subtle way, that if you follow the argument thru, an unprovoked war that kills off a million or so people and destroys an entire nation filled with the treasures of antiquity in a far-away land is a worthwhile endeavor for this nation that would appear to fashion itself towards actions to survive by the weight of its Billy club. What is next...?

...sign of plans for an attack on Iran...
Buried in the $196.4 billion supplemental war spending proposal that Bush submitted to Congress on Oct. 22 is a request for $88 million to modify B-2 bombers so they can drop a Massive Ordnance Penetrator, or MOP, a conventional bomb still in development that is the most powerful weapon designed to destroy targets deep underground. This appropriation will support a new contract with the builders of the B-2, Northrop Grumman. Some Democrats are worried that President Bush’s funding request to enable B-2 “stealth” bombers to carry a new 30,000-pound “bunker buster” bomb is a sign of plans for an attack on Iran. James P. Moran, D-Va., a senior member of the House Appropriations Defense Subcommittee, said he did not believe the MOP could be used in Iraq or Afghanistan and cited Iran as the potential target for the bomb. He said he would oppose the funding. "That's a clear red flag," Moran said. Jim McDermott, D-Wash....said the funding request was the latest of many signs that indicated Bush was contemplating an attack on Iran. McDermott said such a scenario was his "biggest fear between now and the election."

"We are not authorizing Bush to use a 30,000-pound bunker buster," he said. "They've been banging the drums the same way as they did in 2002 with Iraq."

Pakistan arrests hundreds...
Pakistani police arrested hundreds of lawyers, human-rights activists and opposition politicians Sunday in an apparent bid to ward off protests over President Pervez Musharraf's weekend declaration of a national state of emergency and firing of the country's Supreme Court chief.
In Islamabad, aides to General Musharraf — who had dismissed pleas on Friday from Sec. of State Rice and Adm. William J. Fallon, the senior military commander in the Middle East, to avoid the state-of-emergency declaration — said they had anticipated that there would be few real consequences.
Extremism and oppression are okay when imposed by a dictator who is currently on the U.S. State "Friends" list...

"Red Fridays"
Someone sent this to me. I am not certain who originated this as it came to me without the original message. Let's appreciate those who volunteer to protect us. They do not choose the mission, they just seek to carry it out.
Will you give this to my Daddy?
Last week I was in Atlanta , Georgia attending a conference. While I was in the airport, returning home, I heard several people behind me beginning to clap and cheer. I immediately turned around and witnessed one of the greatest acts of patriotism I have ever seen.
Moving thru the terminal was a group of soldiers in their camos. As they began heading to their gate, everyone (well almost everyone) was abruptly to their feet with their hands waving and cheering.
When I saw the soldiers, probably 30-40 of them, being applauded and cheered for, it hit me. I'm not alone. I'm not the only red-blooded American who still loves this country and supports our troops and their families.
Of course I immediately stopped and began clapping for these young unsung heroes who are putting their lives on the line everyday for us so we can go to school, work and home without fear or reprisal.
Just when I thought I could not be more proud of my country or of our service men and women, a young girl, not more than 6 or 7 years old, ran up to one of the male soldiers. He kneeled down and said "hi."
The little girl then asked him if he would give something to her daddy for her.
The young soldier, who didn't look any older than maybe 22 himself, said he would try and what did she want to give to her daddy. Then suddenly the little girl grabbed the neck of this soldier, gave him the biggest hug she could muster and then kissed him on the cheek.
The mother of the little girl, who said her daughter's name was Courtney, told the young soldier that her husband was a Marine and had been in Iraq for 11 months now. As the mom was explaining how much her daughter Courtney missed her father, the young soldier began to tear up.
When this temporarily single mom was done explaining her situation, all of the soldiers huddled together for a brief second. Then one of the other servicemen pulled out a military-looking walkie-talkie. They started playing with the device and talking back and forth on it.
After about 10-15 seconds of this, the young soldier walked back over to Courtney, bent down and said this to her, "I spoke to your daddy and he told me to give this to you." He then hugged this little girl that he had just met and gave her a kiss on the cheek. He finished by saying "your daddy told me to tell you that he loves you more than anything and he is coming home very soon."
The mom at this point was crying almost uncontrollably and as the young soldier stood to his feet, he saluted Courtney and her mom. I was standing no more than 6 feet away from this entire event.
As the soldiers began to leave, heading towards their gate, people resumed their applause. As I stood there applauding and looked around, there were very few dry eyes, including my own. That young soldier in one last act of selflessness, turned around and blew a kiss to Courtney with a tear rolling down his cheek.
We need to remember everyday all of our soldiers and their families and thank God for them and their sacrifices. At the end of the day, it's good to be an American.
RED FRIDAYS ----- Very soon, you will see a great many people wearing Red every Friday. The reason? Americans who support our troops used to be called the "silent majority". We are no longer silent, and are voicing our love for God, country and home in record breaking numbers.
We are not organized, boisterous or over-bearing. We get no liberal media coverage on TV, to reflect our message or our opinions. Many Americans, like you, me and all our friends, simply want to recognize that the vast majority of America supports our troops.
Our idea of showing solidarity and support for our troops with dignity and respect starts this Friday -and continues each and every Friday until the troops all come home, sending a deafening message that.. Every red-blooded American who supports our men and women afar will wear something red.
By word of mouth, press, TV -- let's make the United States on every Friday a sea of red much like a homecoming football game in the bleachers.
If every one of us who loves this country will share this with acquaintances, co-workers, friends, and family. It will not be long before the USA is covered in RED and it will let our troops know the once "silent" majority is on their side more than ever; certainly more than the media lets on.
The first thing a soldier says when asked "What can we do to make things better for you?" is...We need your support and your prayers.
Let's get the word out and lead with class and dignity, by example; and wear something red every Friday.
IF YOU AGREE -- THEN SEND THIS ON.
IF YOU COULD CARE LESS THEN HIT THE DELETE BUTTON --- IT IS YOUR CHOICE.
WE LIVE IN THE LAND OF THE FREE, ONLY BECAUSE OF THE BRAVE.
THEIR BLOOD RUNS RED---- SO WEAR RED! --- MAY GOD HELP AMERICA TO BECOME ONE NATION, UNDER GOD.
HAVE A GREAT DAY

The "truth" about Iraq...
"... nightmare with no end in sight..."

Retired Lt. Gen. Ricardo Sanchez, the former top commander of U.S. troops in Iraq, slammed the handling of the war and gave a bleak assessment of the current situation in Iraq.
“There is no question that America is living a nightmare with no end in sight,” Sanchez told a convention of military journalists on Friday.
In sharp words for President Bush, he said: “From a catastrophically flawed, unrealistically optimistic war plan to the administration’s latest surge strategy, this administration has failed to employ and synchronise its political, economic and military power. National leadership continues to believe that victory can be achieved by military power alone.”
He also accused the Bush administration of failing to “communicate effectively the reality to the American people” of the situation in Iraq. He labelled US political leaders as ‘incompetent’ and ‘corrupted’, adding that "...they would have faced courts martial for dereliction of duty had they been in the military."
“The administration, Congress and the entire inter-agency, especially the State Department, must shoulder the responsibility for this catastrophic failure and the American people must hold them accountable.”
“There has been a glaring and unfortunate display of incompetent strategic leadership within our national leaders,” he said, adding later in his remarks that civilian officials have been “derelict in their duties” and guilty of a “lust for power.”
Continuing changes to military strategy alone will not achieve victory, rather it will only “stave off defeat,” he said.

...whose country is this anyway?
According to a recent Washington Post-ABC News poll, "Only about 25 percent of Americans support the administration's $190 billion war funding request; 70 percent want the proposed allocation reduced..."
Did anybody else have a class called "Civics" when they were in school? If I remember my lessons from that class correctly, I would say our democracy is dysfunctional, no, worse, it has been hijacked.
"Overall, 55 percent of Americans want congressional Democrats to do more to challenge the president's Iraq policies, while a third think the Democrats have gone too far. The level of agitation for more action in opposition to the war has not dissipated since August 2005, when Democrats were the minority party in Congress."

Martial Law: 9/11 Rise of the Police State
Well all I can say about this fire-hose of information is...you be the judge...is Alex Jones the quintessential investigative reporter? ...or a whacko? ...you be the judge...
AEJ Productions
2 hr 35 min 42 sec - Feb 14, 2006
www.infowars.com
Martial Law: 9/11 Rise of the Police State was filmed primarily during the Republican Party's 2004 national convention in New York City. The Republican Party's choice to hold the event there drew both strong praise and strong criticism. Alex Jones' clear intent was that the people who were truly guilty of planning and carrying out the events of September 11, 2001 were coming back to the scene of the crime. In the film, Jones shows what he believes are signs of a growing police state: constant surveillance, a defined military presence, a militarized civilian police force, mass roundups and arrests of protesters, detention in a makeshift facility laden with asbestos which one interviewee called a "concentration camp", and threats of arrest for constitutionally legal activities. Many different views are presented, including one semi-humorous confrontation with a group of American communists.
This video is copyrighted, but Alex Jones has permitted and encourged the distribution of these videos for non-profit, educational purposes. If you would like to help Alex Jones and/or have a hard copy, buy one from him by going through his website. It can be done online or through his office.

US citizen found guilty of aiding terror groups...
Jose Padilla and captors...
Rather than face an embarrassing Supreme Court review of his incarceration in 2005, the Bush administration hastily charged Padilla and co-conspirators Adham Amin Hassoun and Kifah Wael Jayyousi in a federal court. The trio was charged with conspiring to murder, kidnap and support terrorism overseas and two counts of providing material support to terrorists.
The verdicts did not address the allegation by then-attorney general John Ashcroft, who accused Padilla of planning a radiological attack on the United States, for which he was held without charges in almost complete isolation for 43 months.
Padilla’s defense lawyers claimed that three-and-a-half years of military detention, interrogation and alleged torture have left the 35-year-old unfit to stand trial. Judge Marcia Cooke ruled that the defendant was competent despite claims that Padilla – who was isolated and put under 24-hour surveillance – suffered from post-traumatic stress disorder. Although his mental health may no longer be in question, 72 hours of video footage containing Padilla’s final interrogation went "missing". The lawyers say Padilla was subject to 24-hour video surveillance during his entire military detention – except for 72 hours of missing tape.
"What could have been done to Mr. Padilla in those seventy-two, or so, hours that the government turned off the camera when for almost four years every one of Mr. Padilla's bowel movements were videotaped?"
-- Anthony Natale, assistant federal public defender for Padilla
Padilla's defense called no witnesses on his behalf and introduced no evidence. His lawyers adopted the risky strategy of suggesting to the jurors that prosecutors failed to prove he conspired with the others or provided material support to terrorists.
Failure to achieve a conviction would have been a major embarrassment for the Bush administration, given its portrayal of Padilla over the last five years as an extremely dangerous terrorist.
"We commend the jury for its work in this trial and thank it for upholding a core American principle of impartial justice for all. Jose Padilla received a fair trial and a just verdict."
-- Gordon Johndroe, a spokesman for the National Security Council
"You need to understand, this is a Republican city. I'm not surprised of anything in this place any more."
-- Estela Lebron, Padilla's mother
