White House Scales Back Talk of Iraq Progress

"In interviews over the past week, the officials made clear that the White House is gradually scaling back its expectations for the government of Prime Minister Nuri Kamal al-Maliki. The timelines they are now discussing suggest that the White House may maintain the increased numbers of American troops in Iraq well into next year."

...amidst the chaos, a guiding light emerges...

How did such an independent thinking person of high integrity get to such a position in our government? No, I am not referring to the POTUS... The person with a backbone that deserves mention here is Congressman Dennis Kucinich (D-Ohio) who has stood up to challenge the absurd charade which our most powerful federal offices have become. The once-again Presidential Candidate has introduced Articles of Impeachment against Vice President Dick Cheney.

This page provides a very enlightening look at one of the several abysmal distortions perpetrated by our current administration and raises far more questions than it answers.
